I grew up in a large family where conversations about mental health were uncommon, yet the unspoken struggles left a lasting mark on my life. It wasn’t until adulthood, following a significant loss, that I sought therapy for myself. Through that journey, I discovered the profound impact of counseling in addressing present challenges and healing past wounds. This transformative experience inspired me to pursue a career in counseling, with the hope of offering others the same opportunity for growth and healing.

Both my personal experiences and professional path—especially my decade of work with children in the foster care system and my role as an adoptive mother—have profoundly shaped my approach to helping others. It’s a privilege to walk alongside my clients as they navigate their own healing journeys, and I’m honored to be part of their growth and transformation.

The adults, teens, and children I work with often come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, behavioral challenges, trauma, and emotional dysregulation. They frequently arrive at a point where they feel they’ve exhausted all other options and don’t know where else to turn.

This is where I am passionate about meeting others. I help guide individuals who feel stuck, offering them a supportive space to explore their struggles and work toward healing. Together, we address the challenges they face, finding practical tools and insights to regain control and move forward.

I take an individualistic and collaborative approach to therapy, tailoring each session to your unique experiences, needs, and goals. This ensures that our work together feels personal and relevant to your own journey. I focus on creating a safe, welcoming space that nurtures the mind-body connection, while also emphasizing God’s central role in the healing process. With children, I use experiential techniques like play therapy, expressive art, and sandtray to help them explore their emotions and develop regulation skills. Past clients have appreciated my warmth, attunement, and gentle guidance throughout their therapeutic journey.

My goal is to foster a space where healing and growth can unfold naturally and authentically. I place great importance on the therapeutic relationship, as I believe it is key to creating lasting change and cultivating a deep sense of connection, emotional wellness, and empowerment.

“When pain is to be born, a little courage helps more than much knowledge, a little human sympathy more than much courage, and the least tincture of the love of God more than all.”
