Works With
Areas Of Support
Heather Curran
As a graduate student in Clinical Mental Health Counseling with 16 years of experience in social work—particularly in the realm of foster care—my approach is deeply rooted in compassion, understanding, and respect for each individual’s unique journey. I believe that healing begins when we feel truly seen and heard, especially in moments of pain and vulnerability. My role is to create a space of safety and trust where clients can explore their struggles, process their emotions, and find the courage to envision and work toward a different future.
I am passionate about working with couples, adults, and teenagers, supporting them through a variety of life challenges and transitions. Whether you’re navigating relationship difficulties, identity exploration, trauma, or everyday stressors, I strive to offer a space where every voice is valued and every experience is honored.
Having worked with individuals facing some of life’s most difficult challenges, I’ve seen the powerful transformation that occurs when people are given the opportunity to confront their darkest moments with support and care. My work is guided by the belief that, with the right environment and guidance, everyone has the capacity for healing, growth, and change.
In our time together, my goal is to meet you where you are, offer empathy, and walk with you toward a place of strength, resilience, and hope. I am here to support you—not just as a counselor, but as someone who genuinely believes in your ability to create a new path forward.
“Owning our story and loving ourselves through that process is the bravest thing
we’ll ever do.”
-Brené Brown

More Than Just My Work
I love hiking and camping whenever I can—being in nature recharges me and brings a sense of calm and clarity. I deeply value quality time with my husband and my son and find joy in the things they love. Travel and adventure are a big part of my life, and I’m always eager to experience new places and perspectives. Whether on a trail or exploring something new with others, I find meaning in seeing the world through someone else’s eyes.
