Licensed Associate Counselor
Like many others today, I’ve personally experienced the challenges of depression and anxiety. Initially, nothing seemed to help, which led me to take a more holistic approach to my well-being. Rather than focusing solely on the symptoms, I explored how various aspects of my life could contribute to my healing. This journey inspired me to pursue certifications in nutrition and personal training, and ultimately, a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I realized that others, like myself, might not find relief through medication or traditional therapies alone.
In addition to my professional experience, I am a suicide loss survivor, with a deep personal understanding of the pain surrounding suicide ideation and attempts within my circle of family and friends. These experiences, and my faith in God, have profoundly shaped my approach to helping others find healing and hope. I am passionate about walking with children, teens, and individuals through grief, depression, anxiety, trauma, relationship issues, communication struggles, and stigmas. I work with individuals to change the narrative of their lives. I have a history of working with survivors of suicide loss or attempts and have a heart for supporting those diagnosed with Tourette Syndrome. My own experiences with depression, anxiety, and suicide loss allow me to sit with clients in their darkest moments and help them find light.
Using a person-centered and strength-based approach, I address trauma, attachment wounds, codependency, emotional regulation, and grief. I recognize the sacredness of each client’s journey and work alongside them to create a safe, welcoming, and supportive space for healing. True healing occurs when the mind, body, spirit spirituality, and community come together. I am honored to walk this path with my clients and celebrate the collateral beauty that emerges on the other side of their struggles.
“Happiness can be found in the darkest of times, if one only remembers to turn on the light”
– Albus Dumbledore

More Than Just My Work
I enjoy lifting weights and anything that involves being on the water. I might be one of the few people who moved to Arizona specifically for the sun, and you’ll find me by the pool most days in the summer, soaking up every bit of it.
