Licensed Associate Counselor
Hi, I’m Loretta. My journey to becoming a counselor has been profoundly shaped by my faith, personal experiences, and the compassionate therapists who supported me along the way. Growing up, I faced various forms of trauma, the loss of my father, and the challenge of feeling caught between cultures. Despite these struggles, I learned to set healthy boundaries, communicate my needs, heal attachment wounds, and extend love and grace to myself. I believe that courage and strength are found in vulnerability and authenticity, and this inspires me to walk alongside others as they navigate their own challenges. Together, we can build meaningful connections—with yourself, others, and your faith—that lead to healing and transformation.
As a therapist, my background includes supporting individuals and couples through a range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, grief, relationship difficulties, trauma, abortion and life transitions. I specialize in boundary work, trauma, and attachment wounds, employing a holistic, individualized approach that recognizes the body’s role in healing.
I utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, including Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, trauma-informed care, Emotion-Focused Therapy, and cognitive approaches, to offer the support and tools needed to help clients move toward greater well-being and fulfillment.
“To be truly known and understood is to be seen for who you are, heard in your deepest truths, and accepted not despite your imperfections, but because of them. It is in your vulnerabilities that your beauty shines most brightly.”- author unknown

More Than Just My Work
I’m grateful for over 20 years of marriage and the joy of raising three incredible children. I love cooking for my family, playing games together, and simply spending quality time with them. I also enjoy staying active, whether through exercise, walking barefoot in the grass, taking long strolls on the beach, or just listening to the soothing sounds of nature.
